Race Snapshot
Class 5, 6f, 3yo+, 0-75.
Going: officially Good, Timeform says Good to Soft in places. Mostly sunny.
7 runners. No non-runners shown in supplied card.
Likely Race Shape
Pace looks weak/steady. That is important. It helps prominent racers or free-going types dropping in trip, and works against deep closers.
Pace positive: Lohoobb, Grey Horizon, On Edge
Pace negative: Hierarchy, possibly Punchbowl Flyer if held up

Pointer Maps
On Edge
Map: reliable old sprint handicapper | visor works | handles ground | 6f fine | up 2lb | vulnerable if asked to win again off career-high-ish mark
Solid chance, but recent Chepstow win came over 5f and he is now 10st 1lb. Should run well, not screaming value if short.
Hierarchy
Map: hold-up closer | wants strong pace | 6f specialist | soft okay | slow starts | pace setup against
His Lingfield third says he retains ability, but he needs them to collapse. This race may not be run to suit.
Safari Dream
Map: 6f winner | likes cut | bounce-back candidate | Catterick forgive | mark workable | not obviously well treated
Interesting at a price. The Salisbury win reads well enough and the quick turnaround may excuse Catterick.
Proof
Map: Ffos Las heavy-ground winner | class drop helps | 3yo profile | mixed recent form | needs revival
Back in calmer waters after stronger races. Course winner with cut positives, but recent efforts leave questions.
Grey Horizon
Map: progressive 3yo | visor positive | handy racer | strong current form | 6f suits | taking on elders
Very solid. Windsor third off this mark was good and the race shape should help. One of the safer shortlist horses.
Lohoobb
Map: free-going | 7f not seeing out | 6f could unlock | unexposed | trainer form positive | short-price risk
Most likely winner if the drop to 6f helps him settle and use his speed. But at around 11/8 he is priced as if the answer is already known.
Punchbowl Flyer
Map: veteran | in form | Chepstow specialist angle | penalty | tougher grade | apprentice claim helps
Arrives well, but this is stronger than his Chepstow Class 6 win and he may need things to fall right.

Upgrade List
Lohoobb — drop from 7f to 6f looks logical given keenness.
Grey Horizon — current form solid and pace setup favourable.
Safari Dream — Catterick run forgivable; better freshened up.
Proof — class drop and return to 6f make him more interesting than recent form figures suggest.
Downgrade List
Hierarchy — likely needs stronger pace than he gets here.
Punchbowl Flyer — in form but up in class under penalty.
On Edge — respected, but could be fully found by the handicapper.

Shortlist
1. Grey Horizon
2. Lohoobb
3. Safari Dream
4. On Edge

Betting Verdict
Most likely winner: Lohoobb
Best value angle: Grey Horizon or Safari Dream, depending on price.
Lohoobb is the obvious one, but 11/8 is too short for a horse still proving the 6f handicap setup. I would rather be with Grey Horizon if available around 5/1 or bigger. Safari Dream becomes interesting at 8/1+.
Recommended Fair Odds
Lohoobb: 3/1
Grey Horizon: 9/2
On Edge: 5/1
Safari Dream: 13/2
Proof: 8/1
Punchbowl Flyer: 10/1
Hierarchy: 12/1
Bet: Grey Horizon each-way/ win at 5/1+.
Saver only: Lohoobb if drifting to 3/1+.
No bet at 11/8 Lohoobb.

Notebook Entries
Grey Horizon — Upgrade
Progressive 3yo sprinter, visor suits, strong at 6f. Follow in Class 5/low Class 4 when able to race handy.
Lohoobb — Tracker
Free-going 7f type dropping to sprint trips. Interesting at 6f, but do not take short prices until he proves it.
Safari Dream — Tracker
Best judged on Salisbury win. Forgive quick-return Catterick flop. Interesting over 6f with some ease.
Hierarchy — Downgrade today / Tracker in setup
Needs a strong pace and late-run setup. Avoid in steadily run small-field sprints.

Self-Critique
Main uncertainty is the true pace: if Punchbowl Flyer, Grey Horizon, On Edge and Lohoobb all go forward, Hierarchy’s chance improves. Also, supplied going differs slightly between sources, soft versus good/good to soft, which matters for Proof and Hierarchy.
Summary
Lohoobb is the obvious market horse but too short. Grey Horizon looks the better betting proposition, with Safari Dream the bigger-priced alternative.
