On the 25th of November 1974 English singer, songwriter Nick Drake died in his sleep aged 26. He had signed to Island records when he was 20 years old and recorded 3 albums, none of which sold more than 5000 copies while he was alive. But he had a loyal fan base and they spread the word of his great songs. So much so, that he has gone on to be a massive influence in the World of contemporary music.
